2017 International Conference on Geomatics and Civil Engineering [GCE2017] is an annual scientific international conference concentrating on Geomatics and Civil Engineering for experts and scholar in the corresponding fields. GCE2017 will be held in Shanghai, China during  September 8-10th, 2017. The conference aims to provide a platform for experts, professionals, researchers and students in the areas to share the updated information and stimulate the communication with each other.
      Geomatics, also known as geospatial technology, geomatics engineering, or geomatic engineering is the discipline of gathering, storing, processing, and delivering geographic information, or spatially referenced information. In other words, it "consists of products, services and tools involved in the collection, integration and management of geographic data". While Civil engineering is a professional engineering discipline that deals with the design, construction, and maintenance of the physical and naturally built environment, including works like roads, bridges, canals, dams, and buildings. Civil engineering takes place in the public sector from municipal through to national governments, and in the private sector from individual homeowners through to international companies.
